This part of ISO 7967 defines terms relating to starting systems for reciprocating internal combustion engines.A diagram showing the relationship between the various types of starting system is given in Figure 1.ISO 2710 gives a classification of reciprocating internal combustion engines and defines basic terms of such engines and their characteristics.
