This International Standard specifies the requirements for the services and protocols of the spacecommunications protocol specification (SCPS) transport service. These requirements are meant to allowindependent implementations of this protocol in space and ground segments of the SCPS network tointeroperate.This International Standard is applicable to any kind of space mission or infrastructure, regardless ofcomplexity.The scope and field of application are further detailed in subclauses 1.2 and 1.3 of the enclosed CCSDSpublication.
