This part of ISO 29042 specifies parameters which can be used for the assessment of the emission ofpollutants from machines or the performance of the pollutant control systems integrated in machines, it givesguidance on the selection of appropriate test methods according to their various fields of application and typesof machine including the effects of measures to reduce exposures to pollutants. The test methods are given inother parts of this International Standard (see Table 1).
