This device template is compliant with the UPnP Architecture, Version 1.0.LANDevice is an OPTIONAL virtual device under the root deviceurn:schemas-upnp-org:device:InternetGatewayDeviceFigure 1 below illustrates a generic Internet Gateway device consisting of one or more physical WAN and LANinterfaces. The InternetGatewayDevice MUST support one LAN interface, but MAY support more than onephysical LAN interface to connect to the residential network. LANDevice models the attributes and functions ofa LAN interface. An implementation MAY host the WAN interface and LAN interface on the same physicalnetwork interface card.
