This part of ISO 17215 specifies how services can be discovered and controlled. This functionalityis located mainly in layer 5 of the OSI model. Both discovery and control are implemented using thescalable service oriented middlewire over IP (SOME/IP). Figure 1 shows a diagram of these aspects andtheir relation to other parts of this International Standard.
